PACC Annual Membership Meeting Celebrates
41 Years of PACC

On Wednesday June 22nd, PACC members, as well as PACC's Board, staff, supporters and friends gathered at Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church in Fort Greene for PACC's 41st Annual Membership Meeting. The evening's program included the election of new PACC Board members, an overview of the year's accomplishments presented by PACC Executive Director Deb Howard, a formal unveiling of PACC's new mission statement, followed by a buffet supper accompanied by fine wines donated by The Green Grape, and socializing among friends.
Newly elected PACC Board Chair Mariadele Priest chats with PACC's new Director of Organizing, Anne Lessey.

Mariadele Priest was elected Chair of PACC's Board of Directors at Wednesday's meeting. Mariadele is a long time resident of Fort Greene and prior Board member of PACC. She brings her dedication and expertise in affordable homeownership to her current position as Vice President of Housing and Community Development at North Fork Bank.

PACC also welcomed Kris Franklin to the PACC Board. Kris is an Associate Professor at New York Law School. She first became involved in legal academia as a law student, heading the New York University Review of Law & Social Change. She also draws on her four years as a staff attorney working with a diverse clientele in the Brooklyn Office of the Legal Aid Society where she focused on housing and family law. In addition to our new Board members, PACC welcomes re-elected Board members Ron Butler and Rev. David Dyson. Rounding out the PACC Board are Yvette Wright, Anne Bush, Lynn Tollette and Richard Buery.

PACC staff welcome guests to the Annual Meeting.

The PACC staff and Board extend our deepest thanks to all our members, friends and supporters for helping us build community and maintain affordability in Central Brooklyn. Here's to another 41 years!

Special thanks to:
The Greene Grape for their generous donation of fine wines.
